The Book of Revelation
This is one of the most important and misunderstood books of the Bible.
As we look for Jesus' coming for His own in the Rapture, it is vital to have a good understanding of this blessed book. This is especially true in a day in which the dispensational, pre-tribulational, pre-millennial position is under attack.
The book begins with a vision of the glorified Christ.
Then John, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, wrote to seven churches that existed in Asia Minor.
The messages to those church were specifically directed to their individual situations.
However, the messages also have a prophetic application to eras of church history.
Furthermore, these messages are very applicable to churches today.
Following these messages, John is taken to heaven where he is shown God on the throne as Creator.
Jesus then appears as a Lamb, and he is given worship as the Redeemer.
May the Lord use these studies to be a blessing, encouragement and challenge to all who choose to avail themselves of them.
